A Big Star Heart Thank You From Lynn – Celebrating Roy Cox Photography and Our Models!

Whether Lynn is in the recording studio, writing or designing clothing for her Star Heart and Faith Hope Dreams Brands, she is always looking for ways to be inclusive, celebrate our differences, and empower others.

Lynn’s vision for this most recent project was to hire models whose inner beauty shined even brighter than their outer beauty. It’s important to Lynn to ensure that the whole team embodied The Star Heart and Faith Hope Dream brands’ messages of empowerment, resilience, strength and unity.

We believe that true beauty is illuminated from the inside out!

The multi-talented team of models included: Tanaye White, Meghan Tieff, Taōfik Lucas-Walker and Shawn Mallary. The models and the exclusive Star Heart and Faith Hope Dreams products were photographed by renowned photographer, Roy Cox.

MEET TANAYE WHITE!

Tanaye hasn’t always been a model. Before her career as a top-model, Tanaye worked as a Senior Communications Analyst for government agencies and international defense contractors.

Tanaye now traverses between Washington, D.C. and New York City modeling and sharing tips on fashion, fitness and empowerment with her large YouTube and Instagram followings. Tanaye also consults with small businesses through her digital marketing agency.

Tanaye had a blast with Lynn’s team saying, “Shooting for the brand was such a fun day filled with great energy; from the photographer to the other models.” When Tanaye isn’t working she enjoys shopping for the best deals, perfecting her HTML/CSS skills, and hunting for the best seafood & donut shops.

MEET MEGHAN TIEFF!

Meghan has been featured as a fitness model in national fitness and fashion magazines. She is not only a model but has spent the last 19 years as a certified personal trainer. Meghan’s drive and passion come from inspiring and motivating people with health and fitness. She is also a mother of two beautiful and talented boys, Dylan and Maddox.

Meghan shared, “I was very excited to be involved in this shoot with Lynn because I love the message she’s delivering with her inspirational clothing as well as her generosity in giving back to the community. I especially love her message to children- “dream big, love bigger, and help someone along the way.”

MEET TAŌFIK LUCAS-WALKER!

Taōfik is a professional soccer player, model, youth mentor, actor and podcaster (BreakThruTalk). Taōfik believes that we all have a gift and a purpose in life that will not only benefit oneself but those around us.

Taōfik shared this about his time modeling for Star Heart. “Working with Lynn Bryant, Roy Cox and other models such as Tanaye White – I couldn’t ask for a better group of people for my first official photo shoot. From the dressing room to the set, the chemistry among the group was exuberant.”

MEET SHAWN MALLARY!

Shawn is a model based in Maryland who works in the family business while also volunteering for his family’s non-profit organization, Truckin4Troops. Truckin4Troops focuses on supporting military veterans and their motto is, “Giving back through life-changing experiences to those who gave their all for our freedom.”

When Shawn was approached about modeling for Lynn’s brands, he jumped at the chance. Shawn says, “Once I was given the opportunity to shoot with Lynn, I was ecstatic. As someone who comes from a big family that is also very involved in the veteran community, I had nothing but excitement to help spread such an amazing message. Lynn was an absolute joy to work with and I cannot wait to continue to grow the brand.”

MEET ROY COX!

Roy is a Baltimore native who began his career as a cinematographer, videographer and editor. Later he switched gears to focus on photography, specifically for fashion and advertising. Roy quickly made a name for himself once he opened his own studio, Roy Cox Photography, providing models with headshot and portfolio services. Next, he moved into commercial shoots where he became known for his recognizable and complex lighting style.
